Fred Sapp has been in the workers’ compensation business for about 25 years. He has worked in several jurisdictions in the Western United States. He has been employed with a variety of insurance companies, including his initial experience in a state fund. He also worked for an internationally recognized company and also one that was a subsidiary of a well-known national insurance company, that at one time was the largest writer of work-comp coverage in America. Lastly, he has worked with a quasi-public corporation.
The majority of his work experience has been in the claims administration field. He is currently employed as a claims manager for a very prominent insurance carrier in the state of Utah.
Fred has also had experience in the medical field as Medical Clinic Administrator of a general practitioner group in the state of Oregon. He was a member of the OMMA (Oregon Medical Managers Assoc.). Additionally his employment history includes that as an employer, when he managed and owned a photography studio.
His educational experience includes graduation from the University of Oregon, School of Business with emphasis in Personnel and Industrial Management.
He has presented recently at an annual work-med conference and is available for other speaking engagements.
